  • SCOUT – Must be at least 11 years old to join or 10 years old and earned the Arrow of Light Award. Typical age group: Spring 5th grade or 1st semester 6th grade
  • TENDERFOOT – No badge requirements.  Requirements include: Scout spirit, oath, camping, knots, other.  Typical age group: Spring 5th grade or 1st semester 6th grade
  • SECOND CLASS – No badge requirements.  Requirements include: oath, knots, camping, cooking, compass, first aid, other.  Typical age group: 6th grade, 1st semester
  • FIRST CLASS – No badge requirements.  Requirements include: orienteering, cooking, camping, knots, first aid, other.  Typical age group: 6th grade, 2nd semester
  • STAR RANK – Six total badges, with at least four being Eagle required.  Typical age group: 7th grade, 2nd semester
  • LIFSCOUT – Eleven total badges, with at least seven being Eagle required.  Typical age group: 8th grade, 2nd semester.
  • EAGLE SCOUT – Twenty-one total badges, with at least twelve being Eagle required. Typical age group: 9th – 12th grade (before 18 years old).  See additional information on the Troop 18 Eagle Scout page.

Lifesaving or Emergency Preparedness (one of these is required) 7th – 12th grades
